Community Supper and Food Pantry

Grace Hill Church serves those in Morgan Hill whose lives have been disrupted in some way such that they are often unsure when or where their next meal may be. These individuals and/or families suffer from a lack of consistent access to enough food to live an active, healthy life

You might think that this only involves the homeless population, but that is only part of the story. Many we serve have a place they call “home” yet are still in need of a helping hand. They may be teetering near the financial brink, struggling to stretch every dollar to make ends meet. Their stories are as varied and unique as each person that comes through our door on Friday nights:

■ Seniors living on a fixed income that has been shriveled by inflation.
■ Those who have had to absorb financial responsibility for care-taking of a loved one.
■ Individuals or families that have been knocked down by an unforeseen trauma, diagnosis or disaster.
■ Families where the breadwinner is no longer able to provide because of a job loss, or due to a debilitating health condition, or is absent from the family for a variety of reasons.

Our Deacons also maintain a Food Pantry that provides food staples, personal hygiene products, and clothing to those in need.

If you would like to volunteer in either of these important outreach ministries please contact us by using our volunteer form. Thank you.
